I think it doesn't come naturally to English wide players, but I do think Pilks and Snods are showing signs of adjusting to it as I said above. The real key, though, is Howson's ability to play the CAM role in support of the striker, which IMO, he is improving with every game (I think he's already matched his 2 goals scored last season!). Time will tell, though.

back on topic, we really need to get above both Cardiff and Hull as soon as we can, that would be a lot more comfortable. cardiff are 1 pt ahead and Hull 3 or 4 (without looking up the table).

Fair enough, Max, but it was about why City should be able to move up the table. This week's schedule of games could be helpful:

    Saturday:
    Aston V v Everton
    Crystal Pal v Arsenal
    Liverpool v West Brom
    Man Utd v Stoke City
    Norwich City v Cardiff City
    Southampton v Fulham

    Sunday:
    Chelsea v Man City
    Sunderland v Newcastle
    Swansea C v West Ham
    Tottenham v Hull City

I pretty much agree with Wenger there. You were competing all through the game, you just got undone by a few moments of brilliance.
