All this, after it seemed that the idea was finally toast.

No matter how much money's pumped in, the days of a local or even a Full English team are long gone.

I blame the influx of players from the continental Shirl.

The problem for any sponsors coming out in favour of the change might be a backlash against them from those opposed to the change

You can't really blame them, they're just trying to bring home the bacon.

I see what you're saying but I think the English are being done up like kippers.

I hope the results of this ballot don't result in us saying cheerio to the Allams?

Why always us? As soon as things start looking up they always go to pot. (No puns intended)

I know what you're saying, but to be fair, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.

Eggs Benedict. Just hope the new sponsor has a bit of snap, crackle and pop about them.

Just heard marketing manager James Mooney being interviewed by ITFC fan Andy Comfort on Mudbank.

Comfort comfortably (swidt?) owned the lad who was unprepared and outflanked. Nowt new being offered up, the usual veiled threats and pleas for support.

What a monumental pig's breakast this all is.

A sickening obsession of one stubborn old man in his barmy vendetta against the corporation.

NAME THESE SPONSORS QUEUING UP TO INVEST, NAME THEIR PROPOSED WONGA

    OR STFU.

Feel bad for James Mooney getting put in the line of fire. As far as I knew when he went, he was just picking the half time songs and doing tweets or something.

He's a lifelong Everton fan too.
