The way things are panning out I'd rather have had the tough games 1st... We might lose to the lesser teams before we get out 11 out.. Then they'll lose to the big clubs and the confidence is all but gone within 3 or 4 games..
Yeah, I'd read somewhere that we were in the process of sounding Arsenal out about Nketiah. The suggestion was Callum Wilson permanent signing and Nketiah or Brewster on loan. Sounds good to me.
Bid accepted apparently. was thinking about this and whilst he’s no world beater, he’s a reliable striker who knows how to do the role. What I mean is if you have a game moving in different ebbs and flows he’s adaptable. Gayle is a one trick pony who can’t even finish these days, Carroll is just route one. Joelinton offers neither. Wilson can drop, can run off the shoulder, score and assist. He offers actual options for the supporting players.
He's a striker.. He gets on right places.. Carroll and Joelinton afe absolute ****e.. Carroll is actually worse than Joelinton imo.. At least joe could play on a wing if needed... He's not too bad out there
Go figure, NUFC can compete. Imagine where we'd be if Ashley pulled his thumb out his arse 10 years ago
If we spend over £50m on over half a dozen players when the clubs “for sale” during a pandemic, something wrong/right.
Staying up is important for a takeover, but shown off the pulling power of the club, showing we can attract players amd compete is very important. He may think theyre gonna buy the club, he may also just think its his club and he wants it in the prem. Who knows.
Well it seems to be 'appening then. He's hardly a superstar, but massively better than what we currently have and at least for once we're signing someone with experience rather than another **** "prospect".
