The stuff off the pitch isn’t what you play for, you can get too caught up in it.” That's hardly a glowing commitment. I reckon he wants the move but will quite happily stay. The only thing holding this up is Ashley wanting too much money most likely. Hopefully its stupid money. If he is as good as it looks, he'll be worth more in 6-12 months so to sell now doesn't make sense unless its 50m plus. He is obviously not worth anywhere remotely near that at this stage. He's only played a third of a seasons worth of games.
