    nee way they'll let him leave unless its for ridiculous money. Carroll had played 11 games before he was sold for £35m and he was ****. Fast forward 6 or 7 years when transfer fees are massively more inflated, for a young english player who has played 9 games in the league (2 less than Carroll) who is infinitely better....£75m for an oversees club, £100m for any english club wanting him

    That basically says **** off or give me silly money for him. If Man Yoo want him I'll take £75m + Luke Shaw.

    Infact, Rafa needs that **** written in to his contract....not to sell Longstaff as long as he's in charge....or he ain't signing it !!

    Why sell now of he has a full season he would be worth serious money.

    Apart from that hes a local lad and is therefore priceless imo.

    Massive club. Not sure most of their fans would be overly excited. Most opposing fans haven’t picked up on him yet. It’s just us lot going nuts about him (rightly so). Big problem is he might well demand to leave. Huge opportunity, huge money. I think we will be ok as Mike will prob price them out. His market value is probably only 20m-25m max at present. There is no real value in selling him now because a stellar season where he stands out adds big margins. For those of us who’ve seen him regular, that is expected rather than hoped for.

    He's not in the Declan Rice bracket yet but many who watch him reckon he will be (biased of course). Rice will be 40-50million if he goes this summer. Even if Longstaff doesn't develop to that level then he's a 20million player in the current market and he's already at the correct level of club for his current ability.
