You were. Well played: we were indisciplined and it cost us.

Got thrown out of the crown sceptre after the match for being away fan too! One of those days!

Can totally understand Chelsea fans being frustrated.I like to reserve judgement until I see MOTD or key moments from recording as today.

Firstly, an uncontentious issue. For the first 20min, we closed them down, plated with passion and occasionally looked dangerous. This was very good and encouraging for the future. Secondly,I think Chelsea were over confident and under prepared. They were not prepared for the hostile crowd. Lampard came to 'help' Mata after two corners and ended up getting more involved that Mata!

As far as the contentious issues are concerned: first red - very soft indeed. 2nd red - hopefully every Chelsea fan will agree that was correct. Our penalty - clear pen. Lampard penalty claim - probably a penalty.

More worryingly for us, they very nearly equalised with 9 men!! That shows the difference in quality between the two sides which we hope will be partially addressed in the Jan window.

Finally, to the drunk Chelsea fan who had so much fun abusing us at Stamford Bridge (waiting for the tube to depart) when we lost 1:0 a couple seasons back in the FA cup. What goes around, comes around. Enjoy your humble pie but commiserations to all the decent Chelsea fans like District etc.

Out of interest did anyone see the little scuffle near the green where that Chelsea fan tried to run the QPR fan over? There were police ad amublances up and down W London so I am assuming there was trouble, thankfully nothing major (I hope)

Ginger, where I sit, it was hostile, trust me. Mata was certainly troubled by it and Lampard, the experienced man, did no better. For the record, I am not sure how sporting that really is but I suspect mine would be a minority, possibly unique, view!!

Matt --thanks for a mature contribution to this post! I know football supporting is about passion and its easy to ignore the facts! You didn't and thats to your credit! The problem that Chelsea have is that in the modern era they are the Goliath and everyone wants to favour David. I've supported Chelsea for over 50 years, and during that time there have been long periods when we have been quite hopeless! Now we are up there with the very best , any slip makes us look ridiculous! Thats the price of fame! Anyway , enjoy your victory!

As a neutral I must say that Chelsea were brilliant today. Both reds were correct imo, as was the QPR penalty. However, Chelsea should have got a lot more free kicks and a penalty for the foul on Lampard and deserved a draw for the way they played with 9 men.

This was the most surreal match i've ever been too.
An early pen scored and two sendings off in the first-half.
In the second half, it was difficult to tell who was playing with nine men.
I agree with what QPR Matt has said above me.
I'm just glad to come away with three points.

Longest ever 9 man shutout? Great.

Do we get any points for that? Thought not.

I really don't know how Chelsea fans can be proud of their players today. 7 bookings and 2 reds is a disgrace. The fact that they didn't concede a goal for 60 mins with two fewer players says more about QPR than it does Chelsea. We've only score three goals at home all season (a penalty, a cross and an OG!) A lot of the other Prem teams would have put a few more away in the 2nd half.
Chelsea's complete lack of discipline today was nothing to be proud of.

I'm not proud of our players. They were poor today. But, the reds and yellows do not honestly reflect the game.

How can we not be, we had 9 men and still raped you, the only thing missing was a goal. And it wern't really a lack of disclipline was it, it was a stupid **** of a ref that was dishing out yellow cards for fun, he was a absoulete disgrace and should be sacked. We showed tremendous spirit and if football was fair we would of had 10 men + 3 penalties

Well at least you have half term to dwell on it. For someone who has been 'raped' I'm feeling good tonight.

Because despite everything going against us and substandard performances they still showed spirit and determination, it was never a dirty game and the yellows were way OTT. Foy was a joke.

Well, you would say that, wouldn't you. Can't have the plastics thinking that it had anything to do with not playing well or the players not being able to cope when things aren't going 100% their way.

I notice in the paper today that this is the same excuse used for the matches with Man U and Stoke. Talk of being the third game when the referee has been against you. Ah, diddums.
