Well you came up with the hypothetical scenario. No point putting ifs and buts into it unless you're prepared for an honest answer. It's clear you're only here to get an answer that you're never going to get. You want us to "admit" something that just isn't true so you can feel big and hard about being higher up in the league than big bad Leeds for one of the few periods in your history that you've been able to say that. Just because you're "just another club", it doesn't mean that we are. It doesn't mean that we ever will be. We might, one day, but for now it's simply not true. Anything happens to Leeds it's still big news because it's Leeds. We still get in the spotlight while languishing at the bottom of the Championship, because we're Leeds.
He's like that other half wit, the one who's from Ireland but supports an English team, I might start supporting Barcelona if that's how it works. Has an avatar of Mark Wahlberg smoking a tab, you know the one. Has to resort to telling everyone to **** off and calling them a ****. Remedial and ignorant in equal measure.
And just for the record, telling me I need to "grow up" and calling me "son" in the same sentence makes you sound pathetic. It's patronising. It doesn't make you big, it doesn't make you hard.
Well if you believe that then there is little or no point in me saying anything as you have more than adequately demonstrated you will only believe what you want to believe. Good luck in cuckoo land fella
It's fact. That's the only reason you're here, that's the only reason you're ever here. To get big arrogant Leeds to have some "humility", which is one of the most overrated traits in the universe and only matters if you care what other people think of you. Caring what other people think of you is only relevant if their opinions can benefit you. How will getting some tin pot clubs fans to like us a little more benefit us in any way? How will it improve our chances of success? More importantly, from your point of view, how will us giving in to this pathetic crusade benefit you? It won't at all unless a wave of humility washes over the Leeds United fanbase and makes Elland Road a less threatening place to visit, and you play us in the league. By your own reckoning, that's not likely to happen because Leeds is a "small club" that won't get promoted any time soon and merely being in the Premier League, no matter how much you're struggling, is enough to ensure survival year after year. I'd like to congratulate you on not getting relegated in your first season back, as it's meant you get to watch your team get battered practically every week for another year. How fun for you! Here's hoping you survive again this season so you can watch your team struggle next season. How much better would it be if your club had the resources and the belief to make it into Europe? I'm sure it'd be tonnes better. But then again, you'd have to put up with tin pot fans coming up to you calling you delusional all the time, despite the fact that having the resources for it means it's a pretty realistic goal. TL;DR - piss off you pathetic little man.
I see the usual suspects are here, trying to spout out how great they are and how much better they are because there avitar isnt a smoker or calling someone a f ing something. I must remind you, your on our board if you dont like the response go somewhere else. Looks like the fishing is continuing which is cool from mighty etc but from Narwich doing a spot of, well I would called it wind up but thats even a pathetic attempt. Maybe because its half of the Leeds team they have they must feel obliged to come to the Leeds board.
You think that way as it is the Leeds fans way of thinking (not just Leeds mind). Always was, always will be by the looks of it. Each generation hands it down to the next and a brainwashing effect takes place leaving them unable to think for themselves. I never said Leeds was a small club, I said they are not the big club you think they are. In the scheme of things they remain a big club, just nowhere as big as you want to believe. Been there, done that and would not be surprised if we did it again. I just don't expect it or demand it. That simply is not true,,unless you suffer with selective reading as well. Lovely way with words
It is not a wind up on my part I assure you. It might look that way to you because you don't like what I have said, that doesn't make any of my points less valid as I see the current status of Leeds.
Your point is "Leeds will never make it to the top so stop believing that you twats, look how much better I am than you supporting a premier league club". It's completely irrelevant, unfounded, benefits nobody and the only reason you're doing it is to make yourself feel big.
That is not what Thai or anyone has said. I'm astonised that I have to point this out to you. What is being said is that the presumption that now that your takeover is almost complete you will now go back to the Premier League, and will challenge for the top 4 simply because you are Leeds and you had some success over 20 years ago is, how can I put this in words you can understand...bollocks
It's not though. What the OP was saying is that there is the potential for a spot to open up at the top and we are well positioned to take up that spot in the next 5 years. With the resources available and the belief surrounding the club, it is a very realistic possibility. You tin pot nobodies showed up for no reason other than to piss on a perfectly reasonable idea and basically say "it's not ever going to happen so stop being delusional, you're not a big club any more". I haven't misread anything, we just get clowns like you on the board far, far too often.
Disagree all you like mate, at least you keep it civil Chill out Marko, I am allowed to believe your team wont make it back to top because of the changes in the game in recent years. Your belief is down to the fact you made it to the top some years ago, therefor it obviously will happen again. To my mind, my logic is light years ahead of yours. Your viewpoint is totally different from someone that does not share the same feelings for your club, from the outside the perspective judgement is not clouded so much. I am not anti-Leeds either, nor am I trying to be Billy Big Bollocks because we are having a decent run in the game. I could say exactly the same to Birmingham fans, they are/were a big club too but not that different from Leeds as things stand today. Even if Norwich were in L1 again today, I would say the exact same thing, it has nothing to do with how well or badly my team is playing or the club is being run etc. I'll now do what I should have done a while a go and wave bye bye.
It's also because we have the resources, the catchment area, the fanbase and the belief to do it. You're only here to try and "knock us down a peg", so why even bother? it's not going to work so take your worthless opinion and **** off.
