I am also a goalkeeper, although I'm guessing I'm a bit younger than you, put it this way, I start my training at Thorp Arch in September again. And I agree, I don't think he could of done a thing about any of the goals. Bradford's 2nd was a rocket, he did well to get anything to it. All of S'hampton's were nicely curled into the bottom corner and for the 1st it curled around a player which meant Andy couldn't see it till the last second. He also seems to be commanding his defence a lot more, you can hear him more than Kasper, he had the odd shout after they cost him a goal but never any other time.
It was meant to show my age and add a bit of punch to my comment, a decent goalkeeper is going to know more about goalkeeping matters than most. You'd be surprised how stupid a lot of people are when it comes to goalkeeping. Even pundits try and sound like they know what they're on about but a lot of it is knowledge that only a goalkeeper learns.
He looks like a glue sniffer and he should have saved that second Bradford City goal. That mistake could have cost us a run in the League Cup with potential gate receipts in excess of the transfer figure we got for Kasper. Mt Bates and Mr Grayson made some pretty bold statements on the goalkeeping department and have put themselves and Lonergan under immense pressure.
kasper was NOT commanding at all, that was the problem, he was a very good shot stopper and that was it
'He looks like a glue sniffer and he should have saved that second Bradford City goal.' Utter sh*te... it was a brilliantly taken goal hit quick and with pace, he did well to get something on it you plonker.
No don't worry mate, I wasn't having a go. No he shouldn't. He did extremely well to get anything on it at all.
