but you can believe that a goalkeeper "as good as Schmeichel" can be sought after by a grand total of 0 prem clubs?
Why do Leicester fans ignore what we say about Kasper? We have seen him play much more than you. 5 games in preseason doesn't mean anything.
No one is saying he's ****. He's not a bad keeper, but he's not great either. Good shot stopper, but poor positioning etc. He will improve, but atm he's an average player. For Leeds to sell him for £1million is a great deal for us, but he probably will turn out to be a better keeper for Leicester. It's a good deal for everyone involved.
As for Lonergran, yeah he had a **** season. But so did Shaun St Ledger, and that didn't stop him from going to Leicester. Apart from last season, Lonergran has been great for Preston, he was training with Everton with a possible view to a move, so he's a good signing. Rackubka and Lonergran are an improvement from Higgs and Kasper.

because their heads have inflated so much they are having trouble getting enough oxygen to their brains and they are suffering from delirium. Even though it's quite clear a lot of us haven't rated Schmeichel for a long time, they've only noticed it recently because they didn't read anything about him before he signed. After he signed they've read lots of "oh well he wasn't that good anyway" and out of their arrogance and stupidity have read it as something known as "bitterness".
Aswell as the Everton stuff Wolves bid £4m last summer which was turned down with Darren Ferguson claiming he was worth £18m (****e I know but it shows what he thought of him), he was also heavily linked with Aston Villa and WBA in January aswell as short-lived interest from Man City when it looked like Given was going. I'll try to find links for all of these when I have more time .

Funny then how he won Preston's player of the year the 2 seasons before last. 2 seasons St. Ledger was there aswell.

St.Ledger will be the lad that Paynter bullied all night and scored against, leading Phil Brown to comment on what first class centre forward display that was. That`s St Ledgers level. Oh dear, oh dear.
