You are seriously joking right? Or maybe you are the most bias fan of all time... Any fan of any other club in the division will tell you he is not the best goalkeeper in the division let alone 'easily the best'
What? You dont think he had a worse defence in front of him last season? Mills would walk into our team still....
While I find the sale of Lonergan - a keeper in his prime for only £250k - and the purchase of Kenny - a keeper heading towards the end of his career and surely must still be on Premiership wages for £500k - really stupid I don't actually care. Who really gives a crap if the ex-Leeds keeper is better then the previous ex-Leeds keeper - shouldn't matter to both Leeds and Leicester. Anyway imho the best in the division is Paul Robinson - have always rated him and is a class act that will unfortunately always be stigmatised because of a dodgy pitch when he played for England.
I think robinson is heading off to Bursaspor though isnt he? Also, Mills would walk into our team ability wise, as DJ would have done when he was here, ability wise, but it just didnt work out. Class act however.
Paddy Kenny was never on Premiership wages. Paddy Kenny is better than Kasper Bogdan is better than Kasper Maik Taylor is better than Kasper Robinson,Speroni,Luke Steele,Alex Smithies are all better than Kasper. If Kasper was so good he would be in the Premiership. Well done on his player of the year award must have been really hard with all them quality players at Leicester
You got it wrong you clown. Without the contractions my sentence is "which I am sure you are aware of". Your says "Your (wrong you're) sure I'm are (not needed) aware ('of' missing)". I know I typed assure instead of sure, but you made three errors in pointing out my one. You act like we get a crowd of 5,000 compared to regular your 45,000. You have summed up what is so dislikable about Leeds fans. You live in a world that no longer exists, and probably never will again, just like the Forest fans. Wake up and smell the coffee. If I were a betting man, I would wager a rather significant sum that our next sustained period of success comes before yours ever does - if you indeed ever do have one again.
You may mean this sarcastically, but you are bang on. Neil Danns, David Nugent, Ben Marshall, Danny Drinkwater and Wes Morgan all had good seasons. Konchesky, Beckford and St Ledger are obviously real talents too. I won't answer your WUM comments about goalkeepers in detail, but Speroni is in contention with Kasper as best in the division. Robinson is likely on his way, the rest are all laughable.
So you say you won't answer my comments but then go ahead and do? The players you mentioned either had good half seasons but none of them had a good full season, Kasper was better for you than he was for us though ill agree with that apart from when he played Chelsea that was the kasper we had
I said in detail. Which I didn't. Yes, the Chelsea game was definitely his worst performance of the season by a long way. But if he was going to have one poor match, I was glad it was i the cup. True about half seasons, I realised as I was writing that post that most of our best players were actually signed for nominal fees by Nige in Jan! The more I see of Big Nige at work, the more I realise how poor a job Sven did. Nugent was a serious contender though.
You jest but I think this is how some fans make form an opinion. What's Ashley Young's rating on FIFA?
Sven is a tit, see his tipped for the forest job haha I rate Nugent he always scores against us but Kasper isn't all you big him up to be.
Well I think a full season has been long enough to judge Kasper. Remember, he's not even prime age for a keeper yet, so he will improve on his time at Leeds, which I think he has already. He's our best keeper since the Prem days (although I did rate Fulop, but he didn't stay long enough for me to say whether he was better than Kasper or not). Sven wasn't all bad. His contacts are useful and he did sign our best two players, (three if Danns continues the form from the end of last season) but his strategy is to gather as much talent as possible and try and make a team from it. Unfortunately, he didn't bring in any wide players and we were often easily outplayed in midfield. He also brought in players with bad attitudes (Beckford, Mills, Konchesky and am still not sure about St Ledger) that were disrupted, albeit very talented. Nige takes the approach of growing a team, and is very sensible with money too. He does stand attitude either, hence Mills being bombed out like Wayne Brown was in his first term. Sven and Nige are poles apart really. I would love to see Sven at Forest. After all the stick we got from them! Mind you, he won't we able to spend what he did with us because of the new restrictions, so it would be interesting to see what he could do on a budget.
