Sorry, I assumed you were one of the 14 clubs who got their highest home crowd against us. We certainly bumped it up by a few thousand. Anyhow, feel free to reply to the rest of my points in that last post whenever you feel like it. Calling it "complete nonsense" without even trying to counter to what was said is hardly a watertight case, is it?
Any away fan that knowingly enters the home section at a footy match is throwing caution to the wind. If you are sensible about it, there will be no problem. When the home team scores, sit there and soak up the jubilation of your opponent. When you score, cheer inside but keep yor a$$ in your seat and chill. Anything other than that, you are going to get abused. Period. Footy is still tribal in most ways and despite being far more family orientated than it was many years ago, is still a tinderbox amongst many so called fans. I've been in the home sections of many grounds before and it does seriously detract from the day but that's a choice you make. Of course, City rarely put me in a compromising position but that's life........ The Leeds fan was a complete twat for his behavior and should have been immediately escorted out of the ground by the rozzers. No re-seating in the away end or refund - just escorted out and told to leave the stadium perimeter. The City "fans" should be banned for life and sentenced according to the law as they bring shame on our club. "I was trying to help him out".... what a load of $hit. Any conversations about ticket allocations etc. are completely irrelevant.
Thank you Iqbal for crediting me with all your answers, but I can't take the credit for all the others valid points
No, you're still not getting it. You are the AWAY team, you are our guests and you get what you are given and thats it as neither you and I have no devine right to attend a football match. In our case, the other half of the away end is exclusively for season ticket holders and no, we are not moving them for your benefit... The other examples you use are different away as we both know that Barnsley always keep that huge stand at one end for the away fans and the same for Palace who allocate one half of the long stand down the side of the pitch for this purpose... ALL clubs have their maximum away allocation set and in our case, the ground is usually 2/3rds to 3/4's full anyway (19k full) so we don't have a lot of room anyway...
Priceless !! **** Dirty Leeds, **** Warnock and their neanderthal fans. Best that you stay ooop North where you belong then
