In London today. Outpatients appt at the Royal Marsden. Hideous drive in. Can't wait to be back on the road out.
I've been down there on business many times, and for pleasure and for my stag do. Always stay at my mate's in Hornsey, the poor neighbour to Crouch End. Always have a good time when I go down there, but there's no way I'd live there. Travelling on the tube is purgatory
I’ve just been Chrimbo shopping in trendy Spitalfields/Shoreditch, and reminded myself once again how much I ****ing love London. I love it’s teeming streets, it’s noise and chaos, it’s colours, it’s smells, the traffic, the tumult, and most of all the people; every creed, every colour, every sexuality and every possible point of view all rubbing up against each other with far, far more love and tolerance than fear and anger. London, I love you from the soles of my daisy roots to what little is left of my Barnet Fair, and I hope I never ever leave, because there is no place on earth quite like you.
