Hmmm....I don't think Ralph can be wholly excused if there's a fitness issue, in fairness. I think some Poch double training would do us good.
I am serious . For me it's the owner . Put money into buying more players . I THINK We will stay up.this year , but if Ralph walks in the summer or into.next season , we will be in the same position .
The subs were bad decisions. Neither Djenepo or Diallo are Prem standard I’m afraid. 2020 Ralph would have got something from that game.
**** off. Is there not a super league forum for you to try and weasel your way in to? What sort of prick comes on to another teams forum giving bertie big bollocks? You beat Southampton. Congratulations, you're as special as every other team this season.
If they didn't understand what he was doing with the sub, then yes, you'd have to question if they do. It was screamingly obvious.
I think that's very harsh on Diallo. He might become premier standard. But therein lies our issue - what were the other options for Ralph? The subs might not have been good enough, but they needed to happen, and the right people were taken off (in Theo's case, obviously Danny was an enforced change).
Personally I don't think it's a fitness issue (not physical fitness anyway). It's knowing WHEN to press. When Koeman came in he said something like passing all the time doesn't work over 90 minutes and it's knowing when to press and when to conserve energy. The result sort of summed up our season. Unbeatable when we are playing well (though we struggle to kill off games when on top). Mental fatigue lets the opposition in. VAR is guaranteed to finish us off (even if it was the correct decision). Disappointed with the result but the players should not be. There is lots to learn from this game and to utilise over the last 6 games.
most of our squad aren’t PL standard tbh. The only other logical option was to bring on Redmond or Djenepo who are both poor
Just better hope and pray that Fulham and West Brom don't pick up any points. I cannot see us picking up a single point between now and the end of the season. We are doing exactly what Bournemouth did last year
Good point on bringing on Diallo being a mistake by Ralph. Thought JWP & Armstrong did well and were very aggressive against the 3 man spurs midfield.
I wasn't giving it anything. I actually praised your performance and said that you should've had a bigger lead in the first half.
