I'm sure many would disagree. The daily flirting is proof, if proof were needed.

No, i think you should pay great attention to everything i say.

If you don't understand, perhaps you could ask for clarification instead of jumping in and making up the parts that you don't understand. That is advice in general and not just specific to this thread.

    safe as houses eh?

I think thats pretty clear for everyone to see. You think water canons are dangerous, shouldn't be used and that the police should step back and let riots fizzle out. <doh>

If you read that, then yeah, I guess it does.....but that isn't how the conversation went is it?

You wouldn't be telling lies again would you Med Dog?

No, I am suggesting that isn't how the conversation went at all.

and you know what.....that isn't how the conversation went at all.

I don't need to even look at the thread to know that, you even cited how the conversation actually went in this thread.

So either you are a liar, or incredibly stupid.

    which is it?

So you are saying that you accurately reproduced the conversation we had?

    Yes or no?

He didn't say it was the most effective method though, he just said it was more effective than water cannons, from what I have read in this thread, but I'd need to see the whole conversation to judge it properly, and Im not trawling 19 pages of that thread just to find the quotes.

    There we go. Backtracking again.

Fact of the matter is, you said that Water cannons were "dangerous weapons" and that a better method for controlling a riot was to take no action and let it fizzle out.
