Yes he did but in the Seoul Olympics Dave only threw 69m and didn't make it to the final. Alex's mum and dad coach hammer (though not their son) and have encouraged him all the time, his brother throws as well to a really high standard but has opted not to pursue it to the level Alex has.

It's definitely going to be very close in this Keirin, I reckon Pendleton will win but will definitely not be as easy as the other events have been.
