Can I ask, but wouldn't this have been sorted by the Council are for which this building is in, Wouldn't that council be in charge of ensuring the building regs and inspections are being complied with, wouldn't that council been in charge of agreeing who had the work and what materials are being used or would that have been decided in Westminster. Just curious.

So surely it is their case to answer. But lets blame May for everything. It is an awful tragedy, which will be fully investigated and who ever is to blame is going to be in serious trouble. But let the investigation find out what happened before we lay blame at someones door.

Can I say as for the fire brigade funding, you could have had 10,000firefighters there and they would have been able to do no more than they did, that fire spread so quickly.

He was not in power when this criminal act of cladding the tower with a fire acelerater took place, but the Tories were, and are unfortunately. Also Kensington is Tory, or was until this election, read what the new Labour MP has stated on this tragedy, she has not minced her words....... <ok>

I wonder how many of those protesters are actually from the area of this and have a genuine reason for being there.

Exactly what? You are forgetting it was a Tory led council that approved this dispicable scheme, of tarting up on the cheap the Tower block, the stench has the Tory scum all over it.

That would be the same materials the Labour council authorised in Clyne court then. The whole of the council are to answer and it will be dealt with, do you honestly think if it had been a Lib dem, Labour, green or any other run council it would have changed the outcome. Be interesting to see what councillors objected to it being done this way. I wouldn't shout to loud till we know.

Hardly surprising since Swansea East, Swansea West and Gower are all Labour constituencies.
    Who'd want to be a tory, anyway ? <laugh>

It's all very well using the blame game, but until the facts come out nobody knows how this has happened and who is to blame.

People WILL end up in court over this and this will be from the council to contractors.

So wouldn't it be the council in charge authorising it and over seeing it or would it be those in the minority who have authorised it.

Don't let them push you away, that's their nature. Any way they are all full of wind. Roll on the football starting and maybe we can get away from all this political scoring, do we really need 3 threads to shout about how good labour are and how **** everyone else is.

I'm referring to what you stated that I highlighted, which was that the 'same materials have been used in Clyne Court?
