I understand that some of the flats are privately owned. If so, what responsibility do the private owners have with regards the cladding ?
Suspect it depends on whether the materials used were compliant with fire regulations.

Additionally, do these privately owned flats have sprinklers, fire doors, fire escapes etc

In answer to part of your question , my brother ins one of the managers in a well known housing complex not far from the Liberty and after a a visit by the fire brigade it's been discovered that there are fire hazards (this complex has been been build and continues to be built over the past 6 years by a reputable well established building company ) the full detail I don't know but I do know that there is now in place until certain issues are rectified a fire watch patrol to cover 24 hours has started , this hasn't been widely reported but it is worrying about what goes on even in in the private sector.
