I don’t know if we have any rugby league fans on here but this season I’ve been following the London Broncos and the Super League season has come down to the last game tonight.
The Broncos were promoted in the “Million Pound game” (playoff final) last year and were big favourites to be relegated again this season but their displays this season have given them a chance to stay up.
Tonight is the last game of the season and they are away to Wakefield, what makes this exciting is the bottom 4 are Wakefield, Huddersfield, Hull Kingston Rovers and London and they are all on 20 points.
I was wondering if I’m the only person here getting excited about tonight’s games?

I used to go watch Broncos when I lived down there, they even made the Challenge Cup final at the old Wembley but got whipped by Leeds. Don't follow it as much these days, although one of my closest friends is a Warrington fan. I'll be keeping an eye on results tonight though....

I went to that final steelsie
I think London opened the scoring in both halves

To be honest, I don't remember too much about the game, had spent a good couple of hours in the beer garden of one of the local pubs prior to the game, drinking and trying my hardest to pull this girl I'd had my eyes on for ages.....utter failure on that front, but it was a good day nonetheless!
 
I remember the first game played at Fulham back in about 1980, they actually beat Wigan and must have had over 10,000 at that game. A bloke I worked with was an RL fanatic and Wigan supporter so I went out of interest and was surprised what a decent team Fulham had but through one thing or another never went to another game there. I always look out for the Broncos results and they looked dead and buried about a third of the way through the season but have had some incredible wins including two against St Helens so I wouldn't write them off tonight...

i saw them beat leeds at brentford on a sunday night after we had beaten leeds at home on the saturday
lots of unhappy leeds fans heading north that weekend

Wakefield Trinity host London Broncos in Friday night's crunch Super League relegation clash at Belle Vue.
If Broncos lose, they will return to the Championship, just 11 months after returning to the top flight.
But if they beat Wakefield for the third time this season, then Trinity could go down if both Huddersfield and Hull KR win - but even then their better points difference may save them.
Centre Ryan Atkins comes in for Trinity against an unchanged Broncos squad.
The former Warrington and England centre, who began his Super League career at Belle Vue in 2006, makes his second Wakefield debut, 13 years on from his first, replacing Anthony England (hamstring).
Atkins was due to return to Trinity for 2020 but the club brought his move forward before the August transfer deadline and, having recovered from injury, he is now ready to play his part in one of the biggest games in the club's history.
After their stunning late 20-16 win at 11th-placed Hull KR last Friday night, Broncos boss Danny Ward has the luxury of naming an unchanged 19 as his team go in search of a trinity of wins over Trinity in 2019.
They marked their return to Super League back in February with a 42-24 victory over Wakefield in Ealing. The Broncos then won again 42-34 at home in May, when winger Jordan Abdull ran in a joint Super League season's best four tries on the night.

There's a spirit among the squad and I got that sense early on. Then they won three wins in the first six games - everyone started believing a bit more.
I know people have commented on the crowds building slowly but there is a sense of something happening. If the sport genuinely wants to look at expanding and introducing teams from elsewhere, then London is one of those areas that needs to grow.

I was at that one, again out of interest stood in the away end with loads of Wigan, good fun
