Callum McManaman

    down boy, down.
I have never forgotten Dave "He got the ball" Whelan, and Callum Mc******** and what they did/said after the Haidara incident.
They have no sympathy from me :smiley-finger007: <party>

I felt no sympathy for Mr McManaman last night. Never wish ill on a player but he had it coming. He and McCarthy are welcome to sign on though :)

McManaman and McCarthy (and Maloney if that's how he takes free-kicks) will all be EPL players next season. Wigan have some decent players in attack, Mcmanaman is an old-school pure English-type winger, he'll be cracking if he avoids teams like Liverpool who will ruin him (I do think he should have apologised to Haidara by the way, that was classless). McCarthy would add something to most teams in the division too, he's a very good player who would be wasted in the Championship.

Whelan gone is a bonus though, I must admit.

would of liked villa to go down on the last day myself.

i rather had the mackems stay up and wigan..

i dont like mr whelan i must admit , he donates money to the tories which i hate with a passion .

as for there team they tried there best and pulled of a great underdog victory in the fa cup final..which i enjoyed .

okay they little in the ways of size club and fanbase but enjoyed there never say die attitude..even though they aint got millions to spend on players.

way it goes i spose if you down there season after season ..luck ran oot .

You didn't have to read it in all fairness.

Having just hopped over to the Wigan board...which for some strange reason is under the Premier League heading...I found this post of yours :-

    Words literally fail me !

Apparently, according to Martinez, Wigan are the first team to be relegated that don't deserve it.

Hello!!??? I realise that as a manager he thinks the season begins in March but have a word.

Every season they've clogged up the league with poor performances only to scrape through, usually thanks to some extremely questionable decisions if this season if anything to go by.
If the FA had had the balls to do its job they would have been sunk weeks ago and out the cup – since that scandalous match against us it's been the Callous McHackaman show.

That 2nd bit of his brought a tear to my eye :emoticon-0106-cryin

"The Prem is generally turgid and I really won't be too upset if we never make it back up as long as I can watch a team play with some pride."

Spoken like a fan just relegated. <laugh>

Actually I think the league is pretty turgid and would swap relegation for a FA Cup win but its too funny laughing at this guy

    So you agree with me.

I may be wrong, but I'd hazard a guess you enjoyed your Championship season more than this one. For a club like Newcastle that conceivably finish top six regularly then always being in the top league makes sense. For clubs like QPR, Norwich, Wigan etc. I don't see the enjoyment of just trying to survive, hence swapping that survival for the glory and memory of a cup win is logical to me.

Why are you even here? Come back when your boys have bottled it in the playoff final.

Surely if you're good enough to win a domestic cup, you should be able to survive in the PL?

We're not good enough to win a dometic cup <wah>
