a tough debut given the circumstances, but I liked how he read Smith's (I think) mind on the through ball and was on it in a flash, the ball was just too heavy for him, would have really liked to see what he could have done from there.
Can’t judge him on that game, bit like Kent’s first game as it takes time to get into team mates playing style. You could see at the final whistle he didn’t know what to do when all the players were congratulating each other he was about to walk off the field. It took LJ to bark instructions to track back which he did then at that point. His pass back from the byline was fantastic and only took another player to be on the same wavelength. Looking forward to see him play with a forward with him. Hopefully we’ve got another French bargain as yesterday as I thought Diedhiou was fantastic up on his own. Full marks to LJ his substitutions and game play was spot on after the sending off.
