He'll probs be 2nd striker, so a fair bit. Overall, absolutely chuffed with this signing. Especially as we've also got rid of Torres.
completely agreed DL. IMO - Drog himself is better than Nando, Ba & Eto'o all three put together, even at 36 years!! Costa & Remy are massive bonus.
50million for Luiz is the deal of the summer and had you not sold us Mata I'm not so sure you would have got Fabregas, I think he might have joined United

So we've gone from Torres, Eto'o and Ba to Costa, Remy and Drogba. Always thought we were a bit behind the other top clubs when it come to our striking options but not anymore. Outstanding business.
Very interesting signing and all 3 strikers offer very different qualities. Am certain all will play regularly with Jose seeming more like his old self, always ready to switch to the bench early if needs be. We have done extremely good business this year, very impressive behind the scenes work even with our loan outs, so congratulations to all involved.
