My local does toasties so hopefully they'll count as a restaurant

Really don't understand it if I'm honest and worry that businesses will encourage people back when the safety isn't there yet, and the infrastructure isn't either

 

So less than an hour after announcing UK quarantine restrictions, France is exempt, after Macron tells the clown not to be so stupid.

 

You can meet one person that isn't part of your household outside in a park, or their house as long as stay two metres away. Means you can visit one family member. But, since you can go out to 'exercise' as much as you want, you can in theory, see one parent, go to to the shop, then go back and see the other.

 

So has he announced UK quarantine restrictions for overseas arrivals, as from what I am reading he said it would start soon but hasnt given a date.

 

Did he announce its now okay for evil dictatorships to buy PL clubs or is that still on hold?

 

No date yet, but, he's probably waiting for the scientists to tell him when.
More dilly dallying for a couple of weeks at least.

 

That suits me. I am flying back on 18th so am happy if it comes in some time after that!

 

I did wonder why with the benefit of hindsight and with is being an island why we didn't quarantine travellers/ground flights as soon as we saw what was happening elsewhere.
The virus hasn't got here under its own steam human beings have carried it here.
I know it would have been an undertaking, would have impinged on peoples liberty but surely it would have been doable and less hassle than locking a country down?

It seems so obvious so I assume there is a good reason that a mere pleb as myself doesn't understand!

 

To be fair, he did say at the start that more detail would be given tomorrow after the session in Parliament

 

Surely you give a speech when you have full details available given the amount of moronic imbeciles we have in this country?
