Just realised it's Saturday night, it's there do next Saturday, the 20th. Married on the 19th September 1964, Honeymooned in Scarborough & came back up the duffer.
I was manager of Hedon Utd first team in the years you mention and dont recall the events about 9 first team players going into second team for a cup final. What final was it?
It definitely happened, I played in the semi which we won handsomely. It was a Hull cup, that's as good as you'll get after 30 years. The 1st team's season had finished & when the team for the final was named most were replaced by first team players.
Yes there is nowhere near the amount of Leagues now. There's not even Myton and Wyke leagues anymore. I play for Rosedale B now. Played for AS Tigers but we folded and the majority of us went to Rosedale as they offered to put a 2nd team on for us. Got Hastings in the cup today on Costello.
What colours do you play in and what position, I may come along and watch.
At the minute we are playing in blue and red. I'm a centre midfielder. I'll be the one with 4 on my back.
Shall I bring me boots? Best time of year to play football this. Rosedale against Hastings bit of a local derby then. Going to be a bit of needle?

Missed the first 20 minutes, then the opposition scored 3 i think at a stroll. Not sure if eye of's team had a man sent off or just looked like they had 10 men. Their manager had a bit of a meltdown on the touchline which was a highlight.

Yes our goalkeeper got sent off after about 15 seconds. Awful decision. Bad day at the office like you said.
What for? The goalie on the next pitch got sent off for handling outside the area. He ran out and took the ball and was a yard outside with his momentum. Its a bloody game on a parks pitch and he sent him off. The nobs on t'other side giving it he's got to go ref. What a load of ****.
That's what did for me in the end. Couldn't keep dragging me sen out of bed on a freezing cold morning, hungover after 3 hours kip.
Reckons he handled it. He came diving out with his hands by his side. Didn't even look like it hit his hand and I was 35 yards away.

Must have knocked the stuffing out of your team. Your RB behind you, you seemed to be playing RM, was doing my head in he went in for 3 tackles and pointed his toe half heartedly for each one. FFS
