Definatly have him back regardless of what went on with his dad, who's to say he was set to join us, until sunderland came in with an offer they couldn't refuse. Big deal they beat us financially and you cant slate the Campbells for joining a bigger club with a better financial package. FC produced the best performance ive seen in a city shirt Against Burnley at home the season we had him, was head and shoulders above anybody on the pitch.
Mike White via twitter, Mentioned the Campbell rumours, Sounds like it may be an expensive deal though, asking if the Allams will go for it. Good source is Mike White, worth keeping tabs on. Mike white Sports via Twitter.
Such a class poster...........Not.!!!!! Get over this crazy notion that FC would be as good as he was in 2007/08. Many factors have changed since then but the main one is that FC has had 2 massive injuries. If he was that good then MON (who is a good judge) and who is short of attacking options would keep him. The fact that FC can leave says it all. As for your Simpson comments you clearly have got the wrong end of the stick. The Simpson of the past 2 years has been "a pile of ****" but that does not mean Jay has no talent. Jay did not deserve a team place during the last 2 seasons either. BUT Whatever has happened in pre-season has got Jay Simpson playing to the standard he is capable of. The fact that we are now seeing the real Jay Simpson means that we dont need Fraizer Campbell. Some say that you should never go back and in Campbell's case i agree with that saying. He had his chance back in 2009. Time to move on. Hope that is clear enough for you.!!!!
I just wonder though (If the FC rumour is true) that the news on Matty Fryatt is not as good as some are saying ? Maybe Fryatt is going to be a long term absence ? who knows. TWT.
He's out of contract in the summer, they're obviously looking for a loan with a view to a permanent in January, so they can get some sort of fee for him.
That is fair enough. But IF MON thought for one second that FC could cut it at PL level then surely he would extend FC contract ? I wont change my views but if it happens it happens.
Don't know if you've noticed but we are in the championship, you know the league Fraizer Campbell ripped apart last time he played in it.
FC is definitely on the radar, as the request of SB instead of another name that was suggested by the Allams.
Looks like TWS are in need of some loans now. Midfielders Michael Brown out already with a persistant hamstring injury New signing Sick Note Paul Green OUT until October with a knee problem and now TWS have lost David Norris with a thigh strain for upto a month. Poor Colin....Not.!!! Midfield problems indeed for tuesday week.
Indeed i do. But you may care to note that that was 4 years ago and FC has had 2 serious injuries since then. If he was that good MON would be keeping him. Just saying like. The way things are going for Michael Turner @ Norwich City at the moment that relationship could well break down come January time. Sadly.
ASIF thats going rake much moiney back. Get real. They will be lucky to get £1.5m for a player in his last year. I would also be amazed if we paid even half of FC weekly wage. I still think that Huddersfield Town will get him. They have the Rhodes money burning a hole. One thing i would say though, IS IF Steve Bruce does land Campbell then it wont be purely for the money.
Interesting. Loan or Fee ? Well that being the case that leaves Lesta with some free cash on wages saved. Campbell to Lesta ?
I seriously can't believe any city fan wouldn't want campbell back! He was amazing for us and what was his crime? Joining a bigger club for more money? The thought of him upfront with the team from saturday gets me all excited so i pray (to whom i don't know because im an atheist!) that it happens
It's insane that they're so keen on signing him when they're probably basing it on nothing more than what they've seen in the HDM and on forums like this. Don't get me wrong, I like him as a player, but if two different managers don't want him, get over it. Let the experts pick their own players.
Thing with me is simple, whatever he has done before is water under the bridge if he can score like he did last time, England, well Stuart Pearce, saw enough in him to give him a call up, so i am pretty sure he can do it at this level.
