Sorry, this is a bit behind given Leicester played yesterday... From the OS:

Harry Kane made an impressive debut for Leicester City at Blackpool on Saturday. The striker joined the Foxes on loan on Thursday and was straight into the starting line-up for the Championship encounter at Bloomfield Road.

Harry was denied what would have been an fantastic debut goal when Matthew Gilks tipped away his volley from 22 yards.
He was then brought down in the box in the second half only for Chris Wood to miss from the penalty spot and then set-up a golden chance for Lloyd Dyer, whose effort was blocked as it ended 0-0.

Foxes manager Nigel Pearson said: "I think it was a good debut, he showed a lot of tactical awareness and his understanding of our system was very good. I’m delighted to have him on board."

Staying in the Championship, David Bentley played 90 minutes as Blackburn drew 0-0 against Leeds and Jon Obika made his debut for Charlton late off the bench in a 2-0 home defeat against Forest. Adam Smith was an unused substitute as Millwall beat Middlesbrough 2-1 at the Riverside.

In the Premier League, Andros Townsend looked lively in a 75-minute shift for QPR but could do little to prevent Manchester United from winning 2-0 at Loftus Road.

Simon Dawkins came on in the 82nd minute as Aston Villa suffered a late 2-1 defeat at Arsenal.

In League Two, Jordan Archer started again in goal for Wycombe as the Chairboys lost 2-1 at home to Southend.

Away from the UK, Yago Falque scored the first goal of his loan spell at Almeria as his side beat SD Ponferradina 4-0 in Spain's Segunda Division.

Heurelho Gomes started as Hoffenheim suffered a 2-1 loss against FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

In Greece, Bongani Khumalo came off the bench in the 72nd minute as PAOK beat Kekyra 3-1 to stay third in the Greek Super League while in Italy, Souleymane Coulibaly came on in the 78th minute as Grosseto lost 2-1 against Juve Stains.

Not the best weekend for our boys overall!
 
Smith played no part for Millwall again, as they lost 1-0 to dirty Leeds.

Townsend played no part yesterday either. Harry said he felt Hoillett would find the target man Bothroyd more successfully than Townsend would.

He'd certainly have got a lot of flack for leaving out Taraabt and Townsend out had they lost so he should get a lot of credit for his decisions coming off yesterday. Shame for Townsend though, obviously.

What's Smith done to get dropped? I thought he was doing well.
 
.Poor result for Millwall last night, but from our point of view it's good to hear Adam Smith was back in their starting line-up.

Harry said he picked a team that would work without the ball, we know Adel's ****e at that, but doesn't say a lot for Andros. Tbf, i haven't seen enough to comment on his tracking back.
 
QPR fans have been raving about Townsend, their best player apparently so I'm sure he will be back for home games, as will Adel, as they need goals and the above are their two more creative players.
 
Bostock's joined Toronto FC on loan. I think that's probably it from him, as his contract's got to be up soon.
Still, at least we got to piss off Palace's twat of an owner, eh?

On 6 November 2008 Bostock made his competitive match debut in the 2008 UEFA Cup game against Dinamo Zagreb, coming on as a substitute, and becoming the youngest player ever to play for Spurs at 16 years, 295 days

Such a shame its gone backwards from there.

John Bostock is a weird one. He's very religious from what I can gather. People who normally have beliefs, tend to be very disciplined, positive and focused individuals.

Yet, his football career so far, almost suggests the opposite. He's moved from club to club very frequently and always given off a sense of "moping about" and disinterest. I might be wrong, but that's how it seems.

You're right, Bostock and his wife are both very religious people, and he is a positive and focused person. Unfortunately from our point of view he is more focused on his religion than football.

The feedback the club received from Di Canio was always very good and it did look for a while as if it would work out for him at Swindon. But then Di Canio told the club he was planning to use Bostock in a more advanced role as he felt he would be well suited for this. Tim Sherwood responded by saying 'he's our player so we prefer to take a look at him in this role ourselves before consenting to this'. Subsequently we used him as this second striker role in a couple of our fringe squad pre season friendlies, and he was hopeless so we insisted Swindon play him in his most natural position.

Di Canio agreed but Bostock only dipped in and out of their side and then their financial situation caught up with them and he was one of the first out of the door. Such a shame because there's a talent in there somewhere.
