In other words, Napoli's B-Team choked

 

I hope he does well out there. He became a figure of ridicule but at the end of the day he's Spurs through and through and cannot be blamed for successive managers having to select him because we had no one else.

The streets will never forget the Winks-Sissoko pivot that carried us to the CL final.

 

While that video is a small sample, you do see him looking to play the sort of through balls he stopped looking for with us in around 2018

This does beg the question if his passing became so ultra conservative for us because of tactical reasons, or merely because when Eriksen started to dip progressive passes from the middle became a crapshoot - which it still is today, frankly
