Anthony Georgiou was a 45th minute sub in Ipswich's 2-1 win over Wimbledon Kaziah Sterling had the night off due to Bolton not being able to fulfill their fixture against Doncaster Jack Roles played 90 minutes in Cambridge's 3-2 win over Scunthorpe George Marsh was an unused sub in Orient's 3-2 win over Mansfield
The initial loans are until January. If any of the kids are too good for that level, and there is interest, they can be moved up levels for the rest of the season (think of Walker in 2010-11 loaned to QPR and then to Villa) .
Might be worth noting that they were 1-0 down at half-time, when he was introduced. Late, late winner after equalising in the 81st minute.
Another matchday where it has to be asked why we bothered loaning Clarke and CCV to teams that don't include them in matchday squads...
I hope there's a recall option in January. Starting to wonder if Leeds asked for him back on loan with the purpose of barely using him just out of spite for him choosing to leave.
I read it's more to do with EFL rules stating that a match day squad cannot contain more than 5 loanees in it, and that since Leeds currently have 6 loanees on their books, one of them inevitably misses out every game. This theory only holds water if Bielsa has picked the other 5 for their opening games though...
Luke Amos was subbed off after 31 minutes. Doesn't sound good. If N'Koudou and Wanyama are sold, then we may as well recall Clarke and Carter-Vickers and use them ourselves.
Hopefully it’s not serious for Luke after what should have been a promising season last time round was cut short for him.
Luke Amos: QPSpurs vs Wigan (Saturday 3pm) & Portsmouth (Wednesday 7:45pm)* Jack Clarke: Leeds vs Stoke (Saturday 3:00pm & Tuesday 7:45pm) Cameron Carter-Vickers: Stoke ve Leeds (Saturday 3:00pm & Tuesday 7:45pm) Kazaiah Sterling: Doncaster vs Lincoln (Saturday 12:30pm) Anthony Georgiou: Ipswich vs Bolton (Saturday 3:00pm)** Jack Roles: Cambridge vs Oldham (Saturday 3:00pm) & Swansea (Wednesday 7:45pm) George Marsh: Orient vs Crawley (Saturday 3:00pm)
Luke Amos missed QPSpurs' 3-1 win over Wigan due to injury Cameron Carter-Vickers played 73 minutes in Stoke's 3-0 loss to Leeds Jack Clarke wasn't in the squad for Leeds' 3-0 win over Stoke Kaziah Sterling was a 72nd minute sub in Doncaster's 2-1 win over Lincoln, getting the assist for the winning goal Anthony Georgiou was also a 72nd minute sub, weirdly, in Ipswich's 5-0 win over Bolton Jack Roles was a 58th minute sub in Cambridge's 2-1 loss to Oldham George Marsh was an unused sub in Orient's 3-2 loss to Crawley
Jack Clarke started Leeds' 2-2 draw with Stoke...but was subbed at half time when Stoke were 2-0 up Cameron Carter-Vickers played 90 minutes of Stoke's () with Leeds, picking up a booking...and was seen as a less viable penalty taker than Jack Butland The main takeaway, though, is that Stoke going through means that's less potential games for Clarke. Great...
