He's been getting a run in the team lately, and their fans have been saying he's head and shoulders above the rest of the team
He should be. It's a really, really poor standard. Same for Roles at Cambridge. But at least they're getting decent playing time under the belt. These loans will be a good stepping stone to a higher division next season, but they're still a good few years away from our first team squad. Amos is the one to watch now. Bossing games in the Championship is an entirely different story. He hasn't yet found the consistency and injuries plagued the first few months of the season, but word on the grapevine is when he turns up and is in the zone, he pretty much runs the game from CM. Kind of what none of our current CM's are doing.
You know what's irritating about Amos' loan? HITC keep trying to make out that it's going badly, constantly dredging up a couple of tweets from QPSpurs fans slagging him off and making an article out of it
Luke Amos: QPSpurs vs Brentford (Saturday 12:30pm) Jack Roles: Cambridge vs Exeter (Saturday 3:00pm) George Marsh: Orient vs Grimsby (Saturday 3:00pm) Pretty sure the words "unused sub" won't be appearing at all, for a change...
Luke Amos played 90 minutes in QPSpurs' 3-1 loss to Brentford, and managed to be their only defensive player not to be booked Jack Roles wasn't in the squad for Cambridge's 2-0 loss to Exeter due to picking up a knock in training, because of course he did George Marsh played 81 minutes in Orient's 1-1 draw with Grimsby
Luke Amos & Jack Clarke: QPSpurs vs Leeds (Saturday 12:30pm) Jack Roles: Cambridge vs Stevenage (Saturday 3:00pm) George Marsh: Orient vs Grimsby (Saturday 3:00pm)
Jack Clarke came on in the 74th minute for QPR as Luke Amos left the pitch. They held on to beat Leeds 1-0.
Luke Amos played 74 minutes in QPSpurs' 1-0 win over Leeds Jack Clarke was a 74th minute sub in QPSpurs' 1-0 win over Leeds. A shame he didn't make it 2-0, especially after this... Jack Roles was a half time sub in Cambridge's 4-0 loss to Stevenage George Marsh played 90 minutes in Orient's 1-0 loss to Port Vale
Luke Amos & Jack Clarke: QPSpurs vs Sheffield Wednesday (Friday 8:00pm) & Blackburn (Tuesday 7:45pm) Jack Roles: Cambridge vs Morecambe (Saturday 3:00pm) & The Salford City Fairytale™ (Tuesday 7:45pm) George Marsh: Orient vs Newport (Saturday 3:00pm) & Crewe (Tuesday 7:45pm)
So Jack Clarke, this is looking like Leeds robbed Spurs, he was shocking for QPR last night, he’s 19 so time on his side but I’m starting to wonder what Spurs saw in him, right now he looks like a bang average championship player
Jack Clarke played 66 minutes in QPSpurs' 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday Luke Amos was an unused sub in QPSpurs' 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday Apparently you can't have both on the pitch at the same time...
Jack Roles played 87 minutes in Cambridge's 1-1 draw with Morecambe George Marsh played 90 minutes for Orient in their 2-1 Justin Edinburgh Derby win over Newport, where he was played at right back
Luke Amos played 66 minutes in QPSpurs' 2-1 loss to Blackburn, picking up a booking Jack Clarke was an unused sub in QPSpurs' 2-1 loss to Blackburn. I'm sure this went down well on Twitter... Jack Roles wasn't in the squad for Cambridge's 4-0 loss to The Salford City Fairytale™ due to injury George Marsh played 75 minutes in Orient's 2-0 loss to Crewe once again at right back, picking up a booking And for the next round of fixtures, I realise that the Danish Super Lig and Spanish third tier have weird kickoff times...
Kyle Walker-Peters: Southampton vs Saltypool (Saturday 3:00pm) Danny Rose: Newcastle vs Norwich (Saturday 3:00pm...if anyone cares) Luke Amos & Jack Clarke: QPSpurs vs Bristol City (Saturday 3:00pm) Cameron Carter-Vickers: Luton vs West Brom (Saturday 3:00pm) TJ Eyoma: Lincoln vs Southend (Saturday 3:00pm) Anthony Georgiou: Bolton vs Tranmere (Saturday 3:00pm) Jack Roles: Cambridge vs The Pit of Irritation That Is Colchester (Saturday 3:00pm) George Marsh & Kazaiah Sterling: Orient vs Stevenage (Saturday 3:00pm) Shilow Tracey: Macclesfield vs Northampton (Saturday 3:00pm) Brandon Austin: Viborg vs Aarhus (Saturday 11:00am) Armando Shashoua: Baleares vs Reyes (Sunday 11:00am)
