Loan Watch 2018/19

Ogilvie has been playing very well for a couple of months now, most Gills fans are hoping that he stays for the rest of the season

Connor Ogilvie played 90 minutes in Gillingham's 3-1 loss to Doncaster

 

And right on cue did his best Kurt Zouma impression to gift Doncaster their 2nd goal, but to be fair the keeper (like Pickford) could and should have done better, he has definitely been first choice left back for a while now will be interesting to see what happens next, the loan expires tomorrow.

Connor Ogilvie played 90 minutes in Gillingham's 2-0 loss to Southend, so that presumably means we extended his loan

 

It's now been confirmed. He's there to the end of the season, at which point he's out of contract, so he'll presumably sign for them.

Ogilvie was superb yesterday, best I have seen him play for sure, looks better on the left of 3 centre backs than he does at left back. Elliot List got the sponsors MOTM for scoring the winner (and he was very bright for the Gills), but the resolute defending was what won the match and Connor was key to that and my unbiased opinion was the top man yesterday.

Harrison update:
Was not included in today's matchday squad V Sydney FC , but based on what complete and utter dross they served up (Sydney won 2-0) I'm pretty sure he will be in the next one. A bit of trivia Melbourne City's coach is Warren Joyce former head coach of Wigan and Sydney's main striker is Adam Le Fondre used to be with Reading and a few other clubs.
