Agree, it'll be a long time before we see a team as good as that 05 one. Carvalho was my personal favourite, loved watching him play, he was so good.

Had idiots try to argue the invincible side was better because they didnt lose a match.
But just ask them to answer one question, if both teams finished with those same stats in the same season, which team would have won the league title?

1. Chelsea P 38 W 29 D 8 L 1 PTS = 95
2. Arsenal P 38 W 26 D 12 L 0 PTS = 90

Ake on bench for Bournemouth.
He was a starter with Watford last season.

Heck - he can easily make our 11 on Left when Dave is moved to right & Ivan to CB.

Our club management need to have **** all to do simple things correctly?

I think we sent Ake to Bournemouth because we want him to play midfield and not LB. I think that's what Bournemouth agreed to.

Anyway, Hector has signed for Frankfurt for the season, Kenedy is about to join Watford and i think Bamford is heading to Villa which worries me as they've got McCormack and Gestede.

 

Izzy Brown has just signed for Rotherham on a seasons loan....odd one. Blackman has gone to Wycombe until January.

 

Great to see him performing so well, hope he keeps it up for the season and leads you to promotion, and then joins our squad next season and kicks arse for us and sends you back down

 

I know it is just one match. But He is neither playing Mid nor LB.

Same happened with Bamford and Moses million times.
I don't like these kind of loans. Most often - If it is not a good start - it is not worth it.

 

I get what you're saying but lets give it a few games. New signings/loans don't always get in the team straight away.

If Chelsea see him as a mid, then it makes sense to send him somewhere who also see him as a mid.

 

Irony is we need CM / DM cover desperately to back fill Deadwood.
Looks like, Ake might have got more appearance for us than in Bournemouth. Will be glad if I am wrong.

BTW - Ake made his Debut as a sub for the last 15 mins when Arter is Sent off for the 2nd yellow.

 

Ake starts for Bournemouth against Morecambe in EFL.
