Reading the comments on that website it really looks like Vincelot is gone for good and won't return to their team. Does it possibly show that on January 1st we make this permanent? Would be terrific business if we could!

Did anyone hear Vincelot's interview on Radio Kent? He had offers to play at clubs higher in the football league, but chose Gillingham!

Not surprised - not sure who the others were but if a player is offered a starting role in a side that is going great guns and full of confidence, he's more than likely to accept an opportunity to be a part of that.

I thought that Romain had a terrific game. His fitness level was a very pleasant surprise. He made plenty of moves - seemed to always want the ball and undoubtedly has a good level of skill. It wasn't any surprise that he popped up in the right place to take his goal.
Somehow the dynamics of the game changed in the second half - can't understand why we were so negative - because on the rare occasion that we ventured forward we immediately caused Wimbledon problems. I would have thought that we should have learnt by now that we are more suited to attacking - rather than defending a slender lead. We held out - but only just.
If Romain continues as he did on Saturday, it looks like we may have found a good creative midfielder, who, on that showing , would be a great signing on a permanent basis.
