After listening on the radio, it was coming and they were amazed MON didn't change things quicker. Well back to earth with a bump nothing new there then.

neither Killa or Bramble are that bad when paired with O'Shea, but put 'em together and it seems they forget how to play.

No need to have a pop mate.

And for your infomation the same questions/points are being raised with us and Rodgers.

Just thought O'Neil would of worked a bit of magic by now.

Sessegnon didn't sound asthough he was supporting Wickham in any shape or form tonight. Too cold for Sess... Gardner is best at right back. It doesn't look asthough MON took the cup that serious tonight. All round strange evening. Move on to Wigan and aim to climb the table.

Agreed league is much more important, but I'm still gutted with that result.

I agree Derry & Safc83, we're just faaaar too inconsistent at the moment.

Tonight's game further highlights the areas we need strengthening, and (thankfully) at least MON has those same areas in mind.. Reassured by his transfer activity so far and the noises coming out about full-backs. Definitely feel that he needs time to develop the squad - well done whoever pointed out that he hasn't even had a full season yet...

he hasnt had a full season in charge yet. He'll need at least another couple of transfer windows to get his own squad sorted out.

Said exactly that to my Dad after the game. With O'Shea they both look excellent but with each other they are terrible!! Guess that shows why they are both fringe players and not first choice

MON worked his magic last season, perhaps you didn't notice what occured? This season is a season of incremental progress, squad rebuilding and an initial target of survival - mid table. From the perspective of a fan who watches my team every other week, I'm very happy that MON is our manager. There is much work to be done at Sundelrand and I'm confident that we have in MON a very competent manager who is capable of delivering the goods. Ofcourse, some of the numpties have a much shorter term outlook and have already questioned MON as manager of Sunderland. Most of those are quiet, until we lose a game.

Well i was there and also Bardsley was shocking. They played the opposite of sat and i expected that, why did he not bring Fletcher on ?, Whickham is championship standard. I am not renewing my card next season or going to a cup game ever again after that.

Were you at the game mate? Are you able to sum up the performance in 5 or less letters!

    It's soooooooo coooooold up here.

Joking aside, was surprised at how low it was like.

I admit I didn't go, and I ALWAYS go, I just didn't, no reason. Odd.

Well my twopenneth worth on tonight is as follows,

    1. MON sent out a team tonight to LOSE.
    2. The players obviously wanted to have next weekend off.
    3. Substitutions. Your getting beat, you bring Larsson on. The obvious thing is move Gardner RB, remove Bardsley who had been utter crap and leave AJ on
    the pitch.
    4. If you are gonna change the team from the one that played our best game this season at least try something new. We all know what Killa, Titus etc is capable of so put some new bodies in (Laing).
    5. Thats 12 of us decided not to entertain the cup matches next season. We will just go to the pub and have a gargle. Why the f*ck should we spend our hard earned money when these c*nts, who earn more in a week than we do in a year, cannot be arsed to at least put some effort in.

I am one of MONs biggest supporters but tonight imo he is an absolute disgrace. Whatever he says in his match report will never convince me that he said he was taking this competition seriously.

Did tonight answer some questions about Bramble, Kilgallon and Wickham? We need better players.

I certainly won't be attending the next cup shambles that's for sure. A total waste of £15 and 3 hours of my life that I will never recover.

You would have been better off spending those 3 hours of your life tuned into a radio stream listening to Benno, unable to see what was going on mate!
