Lloyd Dyer

Lloyd is/was my favourite player. I loved watching him. On about half a dozen occasions he put in a wonderful shift and dazzled the crowd with pace, determination and attacking moments. In fact the Cardiff home game this season he was superb. Such a shift both in defence and attack. All drifted away though into the sad bench performances which were ineffectual.

Last season he missed 4 one on ones. Yep, 4. It was bad.

Millwall away.

Preston Away.

Hull Away.

Cardiff at Home.

The 3 away games we were 0-0 at the time when he missed them. I remember Alan Young saying after the Preston one, that it was too many chances gone begging for Lloyd.

Maybe Sven remembers these thing to?

Very likeable player but frustrating. Dare I say it he always showed passion for the shirt, especially when he scored.

He does have it in him to change a game in a second with his pace, sadly he lacks a good touch and can't use his right foot at all, which will always be his hinderence.

He was a massive player for us in League 1 and has played a good part in the last 2 seasons as well. I think we need better now though and I think it makes sense for him to move on.

If Lloyd is on his way out. Why did he model both the new home and away kits?

Seems strange using a player who is leaving. Hopefully we sign Wayne Routledge

I always thought that Lloyd had the potential to convert into an attacking full back. Certainly better defensively than PVA and his end product wouldn't then be such a problem.

A good squad player and there are plenty more I'd sooner see go before him.

Looks like "Lord" may have to consider a name change. I hope it's not on his shirt too!

Will have to wait and see?

I have options!

But maybe Saint Ledger?

good! offers pace but not much else, so one footed its untrue!, having said that we need to replace with a pacy winger who can cross the ball with either foot!
