Can't believe Lambsarse would of entered into any conversation with any Newcastle fans in a Bistro/Gastro whatever, certainly wouldn't of been in Newcastle city centre

I kinda agree with everything he's said though.

Carroll isn't worth 35mil, we all know that.

Keegan can't handle pressure, it's been proved all along.

He's admitted Shearer was the wrong choice. We could of done with a bit more expierence in that situation.

Chris Hughton was not the comanding manager they wanted. He relied on the players too much to take charge. Still love the guy but he would never of had the balls to get rid of Nolan, Barton etc and get us to third in the table.

Still think he shouldn't of come out and said all this drunkenly over a casion table but I don't think he said anything too show stopping.

  3. Sometimes i think it's stupid to assume Ashley and Llambias love to piss off Newcastle fans, then I read about things like this. If it's true then I hope the **** dies.

Whereas I won't condemn him based on some red top, I would wholeheartedly disagree with the comments if proven true. Keegan was not a bottler. He was, and is if he wants to be, an extremely successful football manager. He did two cracking jobs here, great with Fulham and Man City and was man enough to walk away when he knew he wasn't suited to international management. His little toe knows more about football, and has more stomach for it, than some two bit casino clown. He isn't qualified to comment. The Shearer stuff is just laughable. Those clowns got us into an unwholly mess that Alex Ferguson couldn't have got us out of. They seem unwilling to take responsibility for the relegation if these comments are true. It had nothing to do with Shearers appointment, the damage was done with irresponsible running of the club. Carroll was not worth 35m but to say he is worth "**** all" is inaccurate and disrespectful.

Hughton was doing great and just as no one can say we would have started this season under him the same way, signed the players we did, nobody can really say we wouldn't given his outstanding record. Also Graham Carr's interview suggests we would still have been signing the likes of Cabaye. Rather than going off what some two bit paper or pair of guys who've displayed a lack of football knowledge, I'd listen to Gary Speed who had actually spoken to the players at Newcastle. They told him he was an excellent forthright communicator who could get his ideas across well. Furthermore they told him they'd run through a brick wall for him. Part of the reason for the success we've had this season is the team spirit developed by Hughton. People always say "it was the players". Sorry but empowering your players to take responsibility is just excellent modern management. We've shown a tenacity to not lose this season, the foundations for this were laid by Hughton. Natural progression suggests he had us on a good route. I'm sure Pardew rates him put it that way!

If the comments were proven to be true, which I have my doubts, then he is talking absolute **** as usual.

Yeah, it makes you wonder how any woman puts up with the billionaire Mike Ashley or the multi-millionaire Derek Llambias!

True or not he's an absolute **** and the best thing Ashley could do short of selling the club to a Geordie billionaire would be to sack Llambias.

Mike Ashley is divorced so she obviously was fed up with him.

At worst it still pales in comparison to Freddie Shepherd and Doug Halls filmed outburst in 98.

    I have to agree with most of what Llambarse said but my favourite bit is this;

Getting £35 mil up front for a player that cost us nothing and has yet to play anywhere near that figure...lol

It wouldn't surprise me to see this scenario play out again when another club wants one of our best players. If anything i hope teams read this and it deters them from buying our players in the future.

I'm sick of hearing about the selling of Caroll I mean ever since Ashley has been here weve sold good players.

Most if not all had good reasons behind the sales though.

We also sold good players under Shepherd, Hall and presumably every other chairman ever. Us and every other club in the world.
