Actually, i agree with him about Carroll. What a payday for you, finding a club daft enough to stump up 35 million for him. You're not the only one's with moronic owners, look at the scouses try and justify the money paid for him.

Im not going to read into this much as it come from a 'night out' anyone could be making up any old **** just to sell a story. At best they have exaggerated what he said and probably taken his words out of context.

 

A very important point that no one has yet brought up...how come he can go on fkn nights out in Newcastle without getting a bat in the face?

No worse than paying £6m for Andre Santos and not going in for Enrique for the same price really. And our owners actually had nothing to do with buying Carroll. And I'd take our 'moronic owners' who are willing to back the manager with big money rather than owners who sell star players for big money and don't replace them with players of similar quality.

 

Still don't say it public its very unprofessional, if Carroll reads this, he has a point to prove when we are at Liverpool next month.

Enrique was already on his way to liverpool, nothing we could do, but i think the Santos gamble will work out eventually. He is a starter for Brazil, so he can't be too bad. Give him time to adjust. Plus we didn't pay 35 million for him.

All of this stadium naming **** blows up and there just happens to be quotes from a "Supporter" that insults all of our heroes in one massive rant? Too neat for me this and I think its another attempt by the media to make everything blow up again so they can sell newspapers.

IMO, this either never happened and was completely fabricated, OR this conversation did happen and was twisted so it would be a full back page story in every newspaper tomorrow morning.

Llambias is a complete **** and I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, but in this instance I think its the media looking for a story where there probably isn't one.

(I actually agree with some of the points to be honest, just not the way he puts the points across)

This is the type of thing that could end up destroying our season, all just seems a little bit too neat for me. Not buying it.

Edit: Loads of people on twitter reckon theres a recording of the whole conversation (which I doubt) but if that comes out to be true forget everything I said. But only then.

Sorry but i dont believe this .. its too convenient for this to come out just after the name changing and when we are really doing well .. as soon as we have somthing good going for us the press try and take it away, try to shoot us back down.

I also think its too unrealto be true, i cant belive anyone would come out saying that, never mind the MD of the club!

Plus as its been mentioned there is no reliable source saying this is real is there, its based on some blokes claiming he had a rant on a night out isnt it?

If its true he wants shooting but i just dont want to read too much into it. Ignore it and keep up the good spirit around the club untill its proved i say

 

I'll await for comment from the club. I'm sure some form of denial will be issued if its untrue. Silence would of course be a virtual admission of guilt but we'll see. It will then be for that gash paper to produce the evidence. Don't get me wrong I fully believe the odious cretin would hold such deluded views of history, I'm just not willing to put much faith in our red tops!

 

Both about as trustworthy and believable as each other.
