The absolute level up he’s done as soon as he’s hit the PL has blown my mind.

Great lad, great character, top CB, threat at other end.

Top, top player is Dan. £30 million plus easily now I’d suggest/

I agree, he'd grace any team in the Premier league and there's been alot more than 30m spent on CBs over the last few years on lesser players.

£30m and plenty more. The only possible hesitation would be that he's copped a few knocks.
But he ticks every box. Man Utd for one have spent at least £200m recently and have no one as good.
And he'll get better still.

Aye if he stays fit all season and keeps doing what he’s doing would be crazy money.

Lads only young too but lead his country and heaps of games behind him.

What is even more incredible is that Mepham was ahead of him in the pecking order in the Championship. He was only preferred against Coventry because RLB knew Coventry would send in cross after cross.

He seems a modest lad in interviews who recognises he isn't the most technically gifted.

So his current God-like status must be down to bloody hard work by him and by our coaches.

I didn’t think he would be able to step up. Improved massively, he’s even sending big diagonals now. Get him tied down!! Loved ghisolfi comments about him

I didn't necessarily think he wouldn't be able to just thoguht it would be difficult and could go either way. Turns out he hasn't stepped up, that doesn’t even cut it he hasn't even jumped up to the next level he has took off in a rocket going up several levels to the point there can't be many CB's doing better out there?

I only really watch the lads so I don't have the widest knowledge on other players but I assume the only thing any cb is maybe better at is the things you don't need that much from a cb anyway. Ball playing, beating a man etc.. and not like he is ****e at any of that anyway. Never worry when they have ot at the back that they are going to **** up.

Crazy levels of improvement, coaches and RLB must take massive credit but I bet it helps having those around you being very good aswell. That back 5 is class and imagine its easier for them all knowing the man next to them can be trusted!

There’s an element of ‘he’s stayed fit’ of course.

Always looked good when got a run of games, just never foreseen this level coming.

Feared the worst when he went off v Burnley but dear lord the lads like multi million new signing.

Shame in a way it’s been to the cost of Trai but it’s all about progress and Nordi, who I was buzzing off at CB, has been absolutely ridiculous forward and defending at RB.

Nordi said he prefers playing RB and it’s easy to see now, big Dan has made that easily doable.

The back 5 when it’s Roooooefs. Rei- Omar - Dan- Nordi is some level.
