For what it's worth, as a ST holder who has been to every home game, I feel we have gone backwards this season. Early on we were pressing teams, playing with energy and generally getting the ball into the box well. Tammy got a lot of tap ins as a result. We seem to have got slower and slower in our play going forward. No pace in the team, poor movement off the ball and a lot less balls into the box. Whether this is down to lack of confidence, poor coaching or inadequate players I really don't know. All I can say is that I really looked forward to games early in the season. Now I hardly want to go as it has all become too predictable. Nice passing, Tomlin trying a few tricks, miss a few half chances then give away a soft goal. Very similar to the first half of the season with Cotterill in this league. I was hopeful that Lee would do the business early on but have started to think he is a good talker who can't back it up on the pitch. Hope he proves me totally wrong next year.
Yep the fizz of going down the gate has all but gone,I would have normally gone up too Wolves on Boxing Day but hey we know what going to happen another tonking at a ground we never win at. For me I'm going down the gate to watch Bristol v Worcester with my boys. Massive game,another Bristol team that is ill prepared for the rigours of the premiership. Really have my doubts about LJ being the right man.
