I was happy with Johnson. We got a championship quality manager for a league one team. Couldn't really ask for anything more and it showed the pulling power our new owner had I thought.
Suppose I had been seduced by the idea of Poyet coming back but I was never that convinced by Johnson. Time has proven me correct, although I take no pleasure in that

I don’t think anything is lined up. The wording of the statement even says we will announce interim arrangements in due course doesn’t it?

They would still need to sort the interim set up even if they had someone lined up to start this week, probably wouldn't announce it like.

I hope they can move quickly as the club now always has a short list of managers who fit what they want. Rather than the previous, sacking someone then starting the search.

I understand the EFL operates a 'Rooney Rule' , which means a BAME candidate must be offered an interview, I don't know if that is whether or not they've applied.

If so, Sol Campbell will be throwing his name in the hat

Dwight Yorke probably will.
