I think the only reason that Arsenal and Liverpool fans have been relatively friendly in recent years is because they haven't represented any threat to us and we haven't looked like winning the title. If we were both contenders I think the banter would be allot more ferocious!!
I think Martinez is a good manager - perhaps destined for a top club. I agree with people who say he gets a raw deal at the start of every season because his players get taken away. He seems to have the skill of adapting through the season and improving - much like SAF.
Yes, agree with Topgun. I remember when we had 3 games in the space of 6 days against them in 2008 and I had some good banter with the gloryhunting LFC fans at my school. But I started to dislike them around that time, because we were clearly robbed a CL semifinal place by them (and UEFA) that season. Recently, I don't really care what they do, although I like the fact that they are nothing more than a mediocre team at the moment.
