http://metro.co.uk/2014/10/03/liver...rite-second-football-team-apparently-4890012/ Not sure what to make of that, who the hell did they ask?
If there were 100 clubs, Liverpool would be my 101st choice. The surveys a load of bollocks anyway, it was conducted in Cambodia
I don't even understand the concept of people having '2nd' teams. All or nothing for me 100% Liverpool...........BOOOOOOYA
It would change from week to week with Matth. One week Utd and Swansea, then Chelsea and Swanea, Then Just Swansea. The common demoninator is Swansea... #fakeass
"with many fans saying they’re likely to opt to watch the Reds after their own. Over 2000 fans were asked for their opinion, and 48% of those who plucked for Liverpool said they picked them because of ‘tactics and team style’" Maybe those 2,000 fans just fancy a good laugh. If your own team has just been tanked, why not have a good laugh watching Liverpool get tanked due to their poor tactics and amusing 'we won the passing' team style?
Biggest load of bollocks ever written. No idea where they did the survey, but you can bet your life it wasn't Manchester, London, Newcastle or Birmingham. Probably done in the north of Scotland where they got it confused with the referendum
I'm no Liverpool lover either but you are talking bollocks to think they are not liked based on United fans not liking them and a few others from different clubs on this site. Unless off course you have conducted your own survey in the places you mentioned. GGMU.
If you had asked this question up to about 6 years ago, without a doubt the answer would have been Arsenal...for the same reason Swarbs has just quoted (for Liverpool). The truth is that the survey was probably conducted at some point during last season when Liverpool were playing the most attacking, "pleasing on the eye" football. The survey means very little as I bet if you asked the same question this season, that percentage for Liverpool will have dropped considerably...heck I bet some Liverpool fans wouldn't vote for themselves right now!
Hang on, just had an idea. If Liverpool are so called"second choice" maybe they could write a book about it, similar to the one for finishing second in the league
