Yes Hendy, Yes im being serious... I really do think Celtic are one of the best teams on the planet at this very moment
did i say it was on this forum and especially that you said it? Didnt think so......nuff said, c ye..
I think this is an unfair assesment of Liverpool fans expectation to be honest. Also, I have not read on our board any slating of Jones by anyone that knows what they are talking about, yet here and on our board are plenty of ye on ours and here with the most ridiculous 1 sentence assesments of a player and his developement to date and what potential he may have as he improves. Sarcastic "World Class" signings of Henderson, list me Uniteds world class signings of the last two years, btw world class would be in contention for the best world 11 not some imaginary measurement to suit your arguments that includes the likes of Hernandez Rooney nani Park Valencia Berba Young Nasri Evra Rio, Vidic is, Smalling potential world class, Jones the same, real great looking partnership for England too but I think Liverpool will be providing that midfield to the England side and some of the attack. With the complete lack of any information in what you have said in your thread it is just hot useless air unless you are standing under a balloon. I would be personally happy with qualification for the CL anything else is a bonus. Bu don't think you will be unchallenged, new players big change in VDS retiring, he was 10+ points a season and ye won by 9 and tothers will improve too possibly. Cant wait for it all to start so poeple like you won't make uninformative useless bitter threads. The Jones thing must have really pissed a lot of ye off. He signed, he was always signing, Kenny mission accomplished!!
I agree. But then I remember similar assessments of United fans' expectations prior to the CL final. I remember a lot of Liverpool fans, yourself included, claiming we thought we were guaranteed to beat Barca, despite virtually no Man Utd fans seriously claiming we were in with anything more than an outside chance. As for United's world class signings of the past two years, in my opinion the only world class players under your definition to have moved in the last two years are Sneijder, Ronaldo and possibly Villa. Of those, one of them left United and one is currently linked with us. Besides which, for the last 25 years United has never been a club focused on having world class players, we've been focused on having a world class team
This isthe point I have been discussing with Liverpool fans who claim Carrick is garbage. Whilst he may not be a world beater himself he has been a vital part of a world class team for many years now
No Liverpool won't be serious challengers, but I can see them getting back in the top 4 with Arsenal slipping out. Arsenals side is a More talented side, but there's no passion or leadership, and they will continue to play average youngsters in goal, which will cost them to many points. Liverpool I feel have been through a period of transition, they lost Xavi Alonso and Torres, whilst Gerard and Carragher aren't the players they were 3-4 seasons ago, though I think they've ridden the storm, and there form at the back end of last season suggests they are back on the up. Spurs will again drop to many points against the teams at the bottom of the table, which will cost them any chance of 4th. Man City are probably going to be our main title rivals, wether we like the way they are doing it or not, there team is very strong, and I can only see more big money signings to come. With Chelsea it's hard to predict, it realt depends on who the manager is, but I do believe that Chelsea side is going through a period of transition also, the likes of Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Essien aren't as good as they were a few years ago. Though if they were to get Hiddink I could see them making a good scrap of things for the league :biggrin.
That is back on. It's delusional to think that every Liverpool fans thinks we are going to win. We know the score.
Yeah I think that extra £4m we have supposedly paid just because of Kenny the bottler is going to be the final nail in our coffin. Relegation for sure next season.
We didn't even pay another £4 million: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13754461.stm Although ironically enough, Liverpool ended up paying £20 million for Henderson after Bruce rejected their initial £16 million approach. Seems a lot like Kenny mission failed to me
