If Liverpool want to be great again then they must ignore anyone from the premiership and go foreign with someone who has a proven record as a top team manager that can win trophies, I know Jose qualifies but he wont manage anyone else but Chelsea in the premiership. They have to pay good money and get a big name or they will be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire....

Another stupid statement by monk......Rodgers job has been on the line since last season so how monk can come out slamming his sacking is beyond comprehension......It was common knowledge that he was on probation for the next 10 games and he was sacked after 8.......It looks as if everyone but Monk was not surprised...
Not really , he was asked his opinion on Rodgers sacking , do you believe it would have gone down well in the Managers association that one of their own had said anything to the contrary .
Why should he say anything publicly, It only makes him look an idiot not knowing the situation Brendan was in......everyone else knew that he was a dead man walking...
Brendans his mate and he was asked during a press conference. What was he meant to say other than showing a little support. No manager is going to turn around when a colleague is sacked and say " Yep he deserved it he was ****". One thing you can always be sure of is that the only people that condemn the sacking of managers are those managers that are still employed (they have a collective vested interest in the longevity of managers careers). Conversely the the only people that are outspoken about these situations are pundits/ex players of that club and ex managers.
