Sounds like a suspicious 'yes' to me. <ok> Same characters, same banter.

We have a perfectly 'good' thread for this ****, people. <cheers>

Nah. Fisting is reserved for the Vanman only. The rest will be dicked metaphorically with a football.

Is that because you guys rested all your players for a month before your cup final?

Perhaps you should've rested some players before Basle and Bilbao? Just a thought and not an original one. I'm sure Fergie's had the same thought several times in his nightmares.

Just think, Liverpool could get their name on this glorious trophy if they win the 'we beat United' cup final this weekend <ok>

Christ UIR. First it's "Who's got the most cups" and now it's "It's your cup final". Have these not been done to death? It was going on on old 606. Give it milk.

We have civil and humour filled match threads with opposition fans in every other match thread. Just saying. Want to WUM - go to the banter thread.

Bilbao was in the Europa league, which English teams (even Stoke) seem to see as more of a inconvenience than anything.
With the League situation as it was, we wern't going to run ourselves into the ground for the Europa ( also notice how the minute we went out of the Europa - City "conveniently" got knocked out a day later)

But a team like Basle shouldn't need any rested players, we were just completely ****e and overconfident in the Champions League last year...

This isnt the match thread and to suggest it is is an insult to Chris who will make the match thread after you lot play tonight.

You said what first? What on earth are you on about?

All I was doing was pointing out the irony in your equally original reply... The fact is you DO try harder against us (and occasionally City or Chelsea) than against any other team...
If you tried half as hard against the likes of Stoke, Sunderland and West Brom you'd actually have a chance of top four.

Anyone who doesnt think this thread was set up purely for Slevin to go on a rant about United must be trippin' y'all.

This is an extension of the banter thread, the matchday thread will be up about 10pm I suspect. Theres one on the United board already just waiting to see Liverpools game tonight for team news etc.

Which match do you and the vast majority of your 'colleagues' want to win more than any other every season?

Cue: City, because they're a threat. Another cliche which is untrue. It's Liverpool and you know it.

I actually just want us to win the games that win us the title...
Losing to Liverpool twice in 2008-09 was obviously more painful (at the time) than losing to any other team... But when in May we'd won the trophy it didn't really matter one bit.

I'd actually question my teams commitment/motivation if we were to beat you this weekend and then played woefully and didn't win in our next two or three games.

Now if the question was "Which team would you most like to beat in a Cup final or a Title decider?" ... It's you guys without question.
