On the BBC site. Sam Heyes on Twitter: "Jonjo Shelvey is showing his class tonight, he is going to be a big big player for us next season."
Di Matteo This is the first time he's gone and picked a team and planned tactics, disaaster. This is the first time he hasn't used those already playing and gone out with the same game plan as before Di Matteo arrived. Disasterous management of the team put out at anfield, a ground where only 5 teams have lost this season and he got ripped a new one. I really hope he gets the chelsea job, I really do, they'll be lucky to finish 6th next season with their 'buddy' at the helm.
Seriously, Downing was good against Chelsea Peno apart, wtf are you even talking about. Young was sh!t unitl he signed for United, I reckon I could find a thread on this board to that effect. Young > Downing at diving his fkn pants off
Matt can you now explain why he is sheite? Can you tell me what you know of Jonjo? Without going into your browser like a sad little boy that you are. Berb, he knows less about shelvey or football than you do So, Matt, you seem to know a hell of a lot about football, instead of creating sh!t thread after sh!t thread why not show off this swesome knowledge by discussing actual football and not the meida sheite surrounding it as per your usual threads.
My threads are good but i'll admit some aren't, on Shelvey, i don't rate him, Liveprool fans are going overboard as per usual after 1 of their players ahs a good game, i judge players on a season not on 1 game.
Matth, you defend Jones, Smalling etc as young lads who will only improve and then slate Shelvey. I have seen Shelvey develop as a footballer since his Charlton days and can assure you that he will be up there with the best. And as you would say, you can quote me on that!
Matth probably assumes you're a scouser, like he does with anyone who dares come on HIS board. Shelvey definitely has a great chance of becoming a top class player, he has showed signs of that throughout this whole season. The difference with him and other youngsters in his position is he's not scared to have a go, his confidence shines through for such a young lad. Also has fantastic technique and can pop the ball around nicely. These attributes along with the energy he has, could possibly make him a top draw box to box midfielder. Of course he still has a long way to go, but he's head and shoulders above most English players his age. In 3 or 4 years time everyone will have forgotten Cleverley, very much doubt the same will happen to Jonjo.
