****sake Klopp. 2 biggest problems last season: 1) Can't defend for ****. 2) Can't breakdown the bus parking. Solution: Buy Salah and Ox who are great counter attacking options. We are already sound at counterattacking play. In fact, it is the only thing we can do!
TAA has been living off that free kick for a while now. Young lad but he is struggling at the moment. I can't believe I am saying I miss clyne. We had enough chances to win so have only ourselves to blame. In such tight games you have to put away clear chances and too bad it fell to one of our younger players On the defending Klavan and Lovern are doing everything to ensure Klopp plays the other. As individuals I think they are both rubbish but Klopp cannot keep chopping and changing the back 4 every other game and expect better results. Klopp has alot to prove because it's only a matter of time his charisma wears off and the fickle lot have their say.
Should have started with Oxlade-Chamberlain wide instead of Mane and Firmino in his normal position with Sturridge on the bench. Defence is crap whoever we play and even if we had signed Van Djik the defence would still be bad because the team charges forward and leaves the two centre backs to defend any break
Have we actually improved under Klopp? We were good going forward under Rodgers, and we are still good going forward under Klopp but our defence and midfield is just still so poor. Starting to get fed up of watching us this season already
Yeh I'd have preferred Ox to start instead of Studge. Studge is better coming off the bench and running against tired legs. They found it way to easy to keep sturridge out today.
There is an element of individuals too. My word Klavan is clueless. Look at him during those two Burnley corners in the second half. Even for their goal he did absolutely nothing when he should have attacked the ball. Put VVD there we probably win most of the first headers.
