He was good vs Sunderland, not so good vs Stoke. But the length of the grass at Britannia was never going to favor players like him and Gervinho who like to move with the ball.
So what's our excuse if we don't win tomorrow? Wrong type of fan? Changing room painted the wrong colour? I thought we'd reached the end of the rope with "the grass was too long".
I'd start Diaby, he actually does good against Liverpool, in 2008 he scored against them at Anfield, in 2010 he got the wining goal at the Emirates. Also in my view, he's a better player than Ramsey.
I've got no issues with us losing or drawing, if it was a fair result. What i don't like are Wenger's often silly excuses, even if the result was fair.
My team for 2morow would be: Sheza Gibbs TV Mertesacker Koscielny Arteta Diaby Cazorla Walcott Podolski Giroud Subs: Fabianski, Arshavin, OXO, Gervino, Santos, Jenkinson, Ramsey
Mine would be Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Allen Gerrard Sahin Suarez Borini Sterling Subs: Jones, Kelly, Carra, Downing, Henderson, Assaidi, Yesil.
Not an excuse, but the grass was longer than standard which you could see from the short passes by both teams in the first 15 minutes till they got used to it. When was winning at Anfield a certainty anyway? I think we will play better than at Stoke because Liverpool will leave room in their defense.
QPR scoring just shows that you can't switch off at the back against anyone, even if they have been worse than a sunday league team up until that point.
