Are most of you still of the opinion that a DM was needed? Song's departure was a gift from God. This double pivot is fantastic.
here we see directly , the folly of selling to a rival. With rooney out for a month it could have been a major advantage for us over the long run . But we , yes WE , have solved their problem for them .
Off-topic but Rangers are losing at home to Elgin City. How the hell are they struggling so much in that league? They're basically fielding SPL/Championship standard players still but getting embarrassed week in, week out by part-timers. It's like if we got demoted to the Blue Square and were losing to Newport. It's so strange.
we have enough money sloshing around to make him sit on the bench for 12 months ... or wash the rest of the players cars every saturday. If he goes after that then we can TRULY say we had no way of stopping him , but. We cant say that now . we have Knowingly and with aforethought strengthened our main rivals. w@nkers. !
Very few of their decent players are still there, it's basically all the dross and a bunch of young ones. All the away games are like a cup final for the home team, I'm from Scotland and part of the problem has always been that pretty much every player playing against the old firm is more concerned with getting a ranger or celtic players top at the end of the game, as much as it is trying to beat them. Basically for the last 25 years most teams have been beat before a ball is kicked. But due to the inferior quality of the rangers team, some of the part time teams actually don't fear them now and view it as a great occasion to play rangers at their own small ground.
To be honest I'm quite over the RvP saga. I think he didn't hold his end of the deal when he claimed he'd stay if Arsenal "showed ambition". Signing Cazorla, Podolski and Giroud, so early on in the transfer window was unprecedented for this club. But he chose what he thought was the easier way to win, and he ****ed off. I'm over it. BTW 2 - 1 Southampton
