Thing is, Thiago used to be a luxury player for us. Quality, but a player we could still control games without.

Now he's more vital to this team than Van Dijk or Salah.

Someone needs to go in hard on Benrahma and follow through in his shins. When he’s rolling around tel him shoukd t have taken shin pads out. Prick

Based on this 2nd half showing we’d be lucky to get top 6 unlike the City showing. Take the win and move onto Forest. One game at a time.

The last 20 minutes were dogshit. Those substitutions did nothing but make us worse.

Not a 2nd half I ever want to see again, but a win is a win.

    Never in doubt.
Well, apart from the entire second half.

    Phew.

Got away with one there. Had loads of chances to get a second, but let West Ham take control and were a bit lucky in the end.

Well… no idea what to make of that. First half was brilliant. Should be 4-0 then give away silly pen and gets saved.

then second half we looked a completely diff team. Couldn’t keep the ball. Was horrible to watch.

    Got away with that one

Or, if they've noticed, simply point it out to the referee. He'd have to go off until sorted

jeez that 2nd half was a hard watch but Nunez while raw is always a handful for defenders . The large number of subs in one go seemed to take away our threat not surprisingly considering who left the pitch though i think also had something to do with WHam improving as had already been shown in the 2nd half

I think the plan all along must have been to bring on the kids when the first changes were made with the anticipation of being a few goals up. But at 1-0 up and with West Ham controlling, it seems a bewildering choice.

Well the sword never fell amd Thats a big result for us.

Once the extra time came over tannoy we played differently.

Milner just ran it wide and away down the left for us and kept them going the wrong way.

Seriously profligate forwards. All 3 cfs (salah moved in) had no excuse to not have at least a brace

Spurs losing again against a super league side.

Not great for them. Good for us.

    Cheslea drew as well

    Clean sheet <diva>

That almost always happens when we don't concede.

Well they say substitutions change games and they certainly changed us for the worse. Fab did not look interested, Jones looked the player he is. Elliott and Milner did well, but taking Nunez of meant we lost a lot of pace up front and also height in the attack. TAA was as usual good going forward, but caught out of position a lot defensively. Onward and upward Forest next. Hopefully start with our strongest team and murder them.
