We were just not breaking through - our defence looked weak, and I fear Wilson just isn't as good as we thought he was, but of course we can't judge after 1 game. Gerrard looked out of it for the most, I barely saw Kuyt as well.

We're missing a few things in our play, and Gerrard needs sparking again. Some width and a playmaker is needed. Turan and Honda in the summer please!

Again with the emoticons. Why don't you tell us green is red and add a doh? That'll make it true.

Your side is tiring, ageing and your manager refuses to acknowledge what everybody else can clearly see. If you were old enough I'd say you'd been down the clubs taking too many drugs.

If you think Anderson and Fabio are going to replace Neville, Scholes, Giggs, Van Der Sar and Rooney when he leaves because none of you supported him for telling it like it really is then you're even more of a dumbass than you appear every time you open your mouth.

But carry on in your delusional funk. It's hilarious.

If you love the ****ing Glazers wave your scarf

But don't make it green and yellow

I think we were unlucky to get the first goal to be honest - we were dominating possession for the first 15-20 mins, and we looked like the likeliest to score. Although once they scored we kept pushing and pushing and suprisingly Skrtel and Carragher just came too far forward, we were exposed at the back and hit on the counter twice. With a 5-3-2 you don't expect to be hit on the counter as you should have atleast 2 CBs staying back. I think possibly we need to resort to a back 4 to regain a bit of composure - as it's easier for Carragher to control.

There's something wrong with Gerrard at the moment - When was the last time you remember Gerrard doing a screamer of a goal? I don't think I've seen him do one of them this season, and nothing from last season stands out. I think he could with putting on the right hand side for a few games, he might not like it - but that's where he plays best.

Meireles looked good, but lacked the same composure he has had on previous occasions - Lucas is the typical example of a DM, nowhere really sees him there - now I think this is the main problem is that he doesn't really fulfill the proper role of a DM, he makes himself known far too much for a traditional DM, perhaps it's time to rethink his position in the first 11.

Kelly bombed down the side, perhaps need to learn how to cut inside every now and again - but crossing in isn't such a bad thing, especially once Carroll comes back from injury. Johnson scored the only goal (a tap in) but apart from that he was pretty average.

Kuyt I didn't see at all, he just disappeared - I think he just had one of those games where he was nowhere to be seen. If you notice everyone who was involved against Sparta prague looked extremely tired - I think perhaps a thursday-sunday was just too much from them, despite missing out on premier league action last weekend.

Suarez looked once again very good, improving all the time and I think he will take the premier league by storm - but we need to support him and give him a partner who will play off him and play him off, hopefully that's what we'll see when Carroll comes back.

Overall, a bad game - We were exposed at the back and our midfield didn't get back behind the ball quick enough to do anything about the attacks. They generally looked tired, but it's no excuse considering they didn't play last weekend.

**** me that was pathetic, Cole is a complete waste of space (and wages!). Everybody had a bad game, Suarez was good when he got the ball but that didn't happen enough

If Man Uniteds standard of ''quality yougsters'' is Darron Gibson, then there is only one way they are going and thats down fast.

Expect Man United fans to be waving their green and vomit scarves when Ferguson as expected doesn't go on a £100 million spending spree. He's going to be the biggest laughing stock in europe when he offers Carrick in part exchange for Modric.I know 'Arry aint the sharpest pencil in the pencil case, but he will tell Ferguson to **** off.
