Really hope we can put last night behind us and get 3 points, we've played well recently and if Studge can stay fit we should be a force for the remainder of the season.

Is Sakho okay?? I'd be more worried if he is not available than Sturridge's availability. The fact that he left the back line yesterday and it all went haywire tells a lot.

The way he wnet off he could be out for the season. he's a slow healer by the look of things and prone to groin issues so if he's pulled up he could be out for months.

I hope not but i have to say it does not look good.

As long as we play with the same amount of backbone as last night, they'll have a tougher time out muscling us. Will Studge be back in time for this one? We'll have a tough job beating them with our other strikers

I don't think it's a groin injury. He injured his back in the warm up and had an injection.

this game rests on three factors

    1. sam allardyce... will he be satisfied with a draw.. it is an away game and sometimes with the best will in the world a game might be there for the taking but the guy is negative and doesn't take it.

    2. LFC fitness and reaction to the game last night. tired legs, injuries... loss of morale... who knows. the game is at anfield and we have to play a side who's as hard to play as cheslea given their physicality

    3. the press... if westham put a 4-1-2-1-2 formation out and say to downign to go push up as well and press our 3 at the back if feel we will lose. If we press them they can always donkey it up to tall lads... lcfc have no tall lads and you could see even goal kicks were uncontested by us.

How many games has Sakho played on the bounce? He is injury prone so perhaps he needs to be managed a lot better. Could have been rested against Bolton ...

He's played quite a few... and very well too. With lovern on the bench v bolton i was slightly surprised.

I cannot say however the injury is related to time played. i don't know.

Turns out this isn't a cup game but is another competition called a "league".

We can win like 0 to 3 points (but not 2).

    Weird.

Who knows but we can collect them each time we play a league game. Maybe we get to spend them at the end of the season?

It might be fun to make a graph of how our points balance changes week to week.

Probably just a waste of time though.

Would be interesting if you compared them to other teams that play near us... see how we compare to them

In any other year, this will be an almost banker win.

This, it has draw written all over it. We will score from Sterling's run and they will inevitably score from a corner. From a Carroll header...written in the stars
